Leonor is from Portugal, born and raised in Lisbon. Her Erasmus year in Italy inspired the beginning of a career in International Relations spanning 3 regions – Leonor worked as a Child Rights Consultant for UNICEF in New York, and she was a Coordinator for a City Hall Development Project in 7 different slums around Lisbon. Her career also took her all the way to Auckland, New Zealand, where she worked at the Consulate of Portugal.
Having lost her heart in Heidelberg, Leonor settled down in Germany in 2008 and now calls Heidelberg home. Fueled by passion, talent and hard work, “Leonor’s Sweet Creations” was founded in 2012. Since then, she has conjured up thousands of cupcakes, macarons, cake pops, cookies, personalized cakes, and conducted cake workshops. By 2014, “Leonor’s Cake Academy” officially joined the line-up, offering different levels of creative courses for adults, children and corporate groups in a fun atmosphere.
Leonor’s latest venture is a foray into the world of YouTube, where subscribers can look forward to weekly videos of recipes, ideas, tips and tricks on how they can come up with gorgeous creations of their own.
