Latin America is a region full of diversity, culture, and traditions. Its food is a combination of European, indigenous, and African influences.
Join us in this “Cook-and-Dine” session as we prepare a few Latin dishes with a coastal theme.
When: Saturday, November 11th, starting at 18.00 hours till about 22.30 hours thereabouts
Where: Ligia’s and Tim’s home in Heidelberg (address will be provided to those attending one week before the event begins)
What: The heart of this session is Colombian “Arroz con Coco“, a classic dish native to the Caribbean coastal regions of Colombia. We will be serving the rice with shrimps, as well making “tostones” as an accompaniment – the Puerto Rican version of twice fried plantains.
There is space for 8 participants. Once you have registered, make sure to let us know if you have any special dietary requests so that we may adjust the menu accordingly.
The list of participants will be finalised two weeks before event date.
