It is a rare treat to sample Pakistani cuisine, which is a blend of of Indian, Far Eastern and Middle Eastern influences.
When: Wednesday, November 16th, starting at 9.30am till 1.00pm thereabouts
Where: Amna’s home in Ludwigshafen (address will be provided to those attending)
What: Did you know that the rice in Pakistan is regarded amongst the best in the world, with long grain basmati rice especially prized? With her Mutton Pulao, Amna shows us how to make rice more exciting. This aromatic and delicious dish is a must when families gather to celebrate “Bari Eid” (Eid al-Adha, Festival of the Sacrifice). It serves well with potato cutlets and raita.
For dessert, we will be making Gajar Halwa, a sweet treat popular in Pakistan and northern parts of India during winter months.
