The tropics are the regions of the Earth lying between the Tropic of Cancer above the Equator in the northern hemisphere, and the Tropic of Capricorn in the southern hemisphere.
This “Cook-and-Dine” session transports us to the exotic tropics with a menu that mixes flavors, textures, aromas and colors from various Latin American and Thai cuisines.
When: Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 starting at 18.00 hours till about 22.30 hours thereabouts
Where: Yaneth and Jochen invite us to their home in Lambsheim (address will be provided to those attending one week before the event begins)
What: Our menu will be a harmonious blend of classic Latin dishes and tantalizing Thai flavors. There are so many crossover ingredients and dishes in the two cuisines – both use chillis, garlic, citrus fruits, tropical fruits, herbs and other spices help build flavor profiles.
There is space for 8-10 participants. Contact me January 3rd onwards to register, and let me know if you have any special dietary requests. The list of participants will be finalised January 20th.
