Food Explorers invites you to a unique dining experience combining food and film – a screening of the romantic and heartwarming comedy “Chef” (2014), with on-plate adaptations and interpretations of the scenes in the movie by the creative culinary team at “ACE Restaurant St. Leon-Rot” helmed by award-winning chef Mario Sauer (formerly of Heidelberg’s Hirschgasse currently closed for renovations).
When: Saturday, November 16th, 2024 from 1900 hours onwards – screening begins 1930 hours sharp
Where: ACE Restaurant St. Leon-Rot, Opelstraße 30, 68789 St. Leon-Rot
What: You can look forward to a predominantly Cuban-themed menu blending seasonal ingredients with Spanish, African and Caribbean influences and served during key scenes of the movie.
Before the evening begins, order your beverages from a specially-curated Cuban-themed menu. When the movie is about to begin, sit back, relax, and watch as the food on-screen comes alive on your plate! Your appetizers will be served at intervals, followed by an intermission to enjoy your main course. Dessert will be served at the end of the movie.
Cinema à la Carte Tickets
The Cinema à la Carte tickets cost 92 Euro per person and it includes the movie and a 5-course menu. You may pay for your beverages directly at the restaurant.
The restaurant requires at least 30 participants for this event to take place.
