Food Explorers invites you to a unique dining experience combining food and film – a screening of Hollywood’s “The Hundred Foot Journey” (2014), with on-plate adaptations and interpretations of the scenes in the movie by the creative culinary team at “Hase Im Mond” – Katja Merkel and Guna Upul Samante.
When: Saturday, 20th May, 2017 from 1900 hours onwards – screening begins 1930 hours sharp
Where: Felderbock Hotel Restaurant, Hauptstraße 26, 69226 Nußloch
What: You can look forward to seasonal ingredients, fresh herbs and aromatics combined with spices from the Indian subcontinent, presented with French flair and served during key scenes of the movie.
The evening will begin with a short cocktail reception during which you can enjoy a glass of Prosecco and two types of finger foods. When the movie is about to begin, sit back, relax, and watch as the food on-screen comes alive on your plate! Three different appetizers will be served at intervals, followed by a brief intermission for the main course to be introduced. Dessert will be served at the end of the movie.
One glass of Prosecco and unlimited table water are included in ticket prices. Wine and non-alcoholic beverages are also available and can be paid for at the end of the evening.
The Cinema à la Carte tickets cost 57 Euro per person for members of Food Explorers. Non-members pay 63 Euro per person. Ticket prices include a screening fee of 5 Euro per person as imposed by the Verband der Filmverleiher e.V.
A vegetarian version of the evening’s menu can be customized upon request. Please let us know of any dietary requirements when you book your seats.
Deadline for registration is Friday, 12th May, 2017. Members can pay online to secure their seats. Non-members please contact me.
