Hola a todos!

For breakfast (El Desayuno) around 7.30am, a typical Spaniard might have a cup of coffee and perhaps a small piece of toast with butter and jam or a small bowl of cereal.  Some don’t eat at all, preferring to have their mid-morning snack around 10am.  Most Spaniards still think of lunch (La Comida) as the main meal of the day, whether or not they have the option of going home to eat with their families.

When:  Thursday, December 1st from 9.30am till 1.00pm thereabouts

Where:  Maria Luz’s home in Weinheim (address will be provided to those attending)

What:  Maria Luz shares with us a few family favorites she acquired – everyday dishes that Spanish families cook at home.  We start with two tapas – a Spanish Tortilla de Patatas and Catalan Tomato Bread.  For our main course, we will learn to make “Arroz con Pollo“, a dish very similar to paella but can be made at home using a regular pan.  We will end our meal with an orange dessert, which is popular in Andalucia and north Africa.

Registration is open.  There will be space for 8 of us.

¡buen provecho!
