恭禧发财 Gōng Xǐ Fā Cái!

Chinese New Year festivities last for the first fifteen days of the Chinese lunar calendar.  In 2018, the first day falls on February 16th.  This 15-day period is a time of reunions and gatherings with family and friends.  As I won’t be going back to Malaysia this year to celebrate with my extended family, I would be honored if you would join me for a Potluck Party in my home.

When:  Wednesday, February 21st (Day 6), starting at 10.30am till about 1.00pm thereabouts

Where:  Faeimm’s home in Nußloch (address will be provided to those attending)

What:  Malaysian cuisine is a potpourri of flavors from many cultures, therefore all type of dishes are most welcome.  In Malaysia, a Chinese New Year festive meal is not complete without a Chinese Prosperity Salad, the “Yee Sang“.  I am pleased to prepare it, and I look forward to doing the Prosperity Toss with you!
