Autumn is here, and nature all around us prepares for the colder days ahead. The season evokes images of bundling up, sitting around fires, and enjoying warm, soul-soothing meals.
We won’t have to forage for nuts in this “Cook-and-Dine” session, but we will get to cook with them. Savoury or sweet, their textures bring personality to any dish they are added to.
When: Saturday, November 16th, starting at 18.00 hours till about 22.30 hours thereabouts
Where: Yaneth’s and Jochen’s home in Lambsheim (address will be provided to those attending one week before the event begins)
What: Our autumn evening warms up with some Velouté de Châtaignes. This creamy chestnut soup whets the appetite and paves the way for our main course – Grilled Salmon “Tarator” – a Middle Eastern-inspired dish with flavours that make it easy to transition from summer to autumn. Key Lime Pie is not a typical dessert for autumn, but we feature it anyhow in this session because the secret of its deliciousness lies in the crust!
There is space for 8-10 participants. Once you have registered, make sure to let us know if you have any special dietary requests so that we may adjust the menu accordingly.
The list of participants will be finalised two weeks before event date.
