Greek food is so much more than gyros, souvlaki and moussaka.  Being at the crossroads between east and west, the cuisine is very diverse, and one of the healthiest in the world.  We are getting together to cook dishes the Greeks typically eat at home.

When:  Thursday, June 1st, starting at 9.30am till about 1.00pm thereabouts

Where:  Maria Luz’s home in Weinheim (address will be provided to those attending)

What:   We start our meal with seasonal vegetables prepared Greek-style and served with a nice, cooling cucumber tzatziki sauce.  Our main course is “Pastitsio”, a baked pasta dish made with minced beef and béchamel sauce.  Our Greek dining experience ends with “Patzavouropita”, a traditional Greek phyllo pie which can also double as a light meal if made using savoury ingredients.  For our session, we will be making it sweet.

There is space for 8 participants.
