Olá a todos!
Anyone fancy a stew from Brazil?
When: Wednesday, July 19th, starting at 9.30am till about 1.00pm thereabouts
Where: Teresinha’s home in Limburgerhof (address will be provided to those attending)
What: Feijoada (pronounced “fay-zho-ah-dah”) is a traditional bean-and-meat stew widely popular in Portugal and Brazil. In fact, it is considered the national dish of Brazil! The dish gets its name from “feijão”, the Portuguese word for beans. This stew is typically made with a combination of fresh pork and salt-cured sausages. Feijoada should be slow-cooked over the course of several hours – the result is a thick, hearty stew with a rich, savoury flavour, with meat so tender it melts in your mouth.
There are 8 spots available in this session. Online registration opens mid June.
Obrigada!
