Did you know that Canada was the first country to celebrate Thanksgiving?  The English explorer Martin Frobisher held the first meal in 1578, more than 40 years before American pilgrims.  Canadian Thanksgiving falls on the second Monday in October.  It is celebrated much like in the US – turkey dinner, football and family time.

When:  Wednesday, November 15th, starting at 9.30am till about 1.00pm thereabouts

Where:  Diana’s home in Plankstadt (address will be provided to those attending)

What:  Experience a Canadian-style Thanksgiving meal complete with a whole turkey and pumpkin pie!

Cheers!
