Vegetables are the new meat!  These days, more and more health-conscious consumers are recognizing the tasty and satisfying possibilities vegetables have to offer.  Especially when fresh, in season and carefully prepared.

Want to eat plant-based meals and still enjoy the delicious tastes you love?  Food Explorers’ very own Cuisine Expert Marji Simon-Meinefeld will show you how!

When:  Thursday, April 12th, starting at 9.30am till about 1.00pm thereabouts

Where:  Sarah’s home in Neustadt  (address will be provided to those attending)

What:  For the recipes, we will use whole foods like mushrooms, lentils, beans and other vegetables to replace the meat in traditional meat-heavy dishes.  For an even more meaty texture, some of these recipes may call for tofu or seitan.  To add even more surprise, find out how to use jackfruit and chickpeas for satisfying meat alternatives.  You will go home with several great recipes that your family will love.

There is space for 8 participants.
