Food Explorers’ second “Cookbook Club” meeting takes a closer look at “Clean Eating”, a philosophy of eating loosely based on the paleo way. Gluten-free, dairy-free and refined sugar-free – these criteria do sound rather intimidating, so we plan to try out some recipes first-hand to get a better feel of what it is all about.
When: Wednesday, March 29th starting at 9.30am till about 1.00pm thereabouts
Where: Amy’s home in Weinheim (address will be provided to those attending)
What: We have picked the book “Eat Clean” (& Feel Great with 100 Recipes for Real Food You Will Love) by Luke Hines, who has co-authored six bestselling “Clean Living” cookbooks. The recipes we will be making are: Baja Fish Tacos with Guacamole, Spicy Palo Pork Burritos with Red Cabbage Salad, and Mexican Chocolate Mousse for dessert.
There is space for 8 participants in this session. In case of overwhelming demand, priority will be given to members who (1) have not attended a Cookbook Club session before and/or (2) have not attended a session in Amy’s home.
The waiting list is now open.
Thank you!
